A flawless, sharply-rendered image of the Sukuuvestaa Corporation logo is displayed, superimposed on a view of the planet Saisio III as seen from orbit. This image persists for five seconds, then fades seamlessly to show a female of the Deteis bloodline standing before a station window overlooking that planetscape. She appears to be addressing a group of people off-camera.>
"Esteemed Colleagues, Directors, and Panel members" she says in preface to a speech that is delivered with manuscript precision and lacking completely in personal flair, "the enterprise named above represents an independent paramilitary organization which operates in full compliance with CONCORD and State regulations, and whose stated mission is to defend and support the Caldari State. Representatives of the Hashimoto Corporation have been granted access to internal memorandums and records, reproduced here for review, that show great potential for expansion in key markets; furthermore, the market-specific data suggests a substantial profit margin available for immediate exploit."
< The speaker pauses for effect, and to readjust her posture. The camera pans clockwise, briefly showing a gathering of faceless executives seated around a conference table in a wood-paneled board room. She resumed speech, and the camera is again focused on her, standing a few steps away from a vacant seat. >
"Hashimoto Corporation recognizes that no venture is without risk, particularly when discussing the funding and operations of paramilitary units; therefore, initial investment shall be limited to one billion ISK principal, with a promised return of ten percent, plus principal, to be delivered no later than three months from this date. Further investments above and beyond this initial offering has been discussed and is anticipated in the near future. It is our intention that this sort of cooperation, crossing Party divisions, shall be beneficial to the cohesion and unity of the State as a whole; and, that other individual and State actors will be enlivened by the success of this enterprise into productive, Practical, and Patriotic action in defense of the Caldari State."
< The speaker falls silent and steps forward among rumblings from those seated. Whispered, unintelligible conversations, and the tell-tale sounds of NeoComm and traditional holo-communication devices can be heard as the video fades. >
